CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
The Course Directors of the 3rd Annual Cardiology APP National Conference invite the submission of abstracts on one of the categories in cardiology listed below. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive update on the status of research and stimulate collaborations, recruitment of subjects, and ideas for developing other studies. Authors may submit abstracts or case study reports of completed work, work in progress, or work presented elsewhere within the past 12 months.
Student submissions are encouraged!
Prizes will be awarded!

Three $1,000 travel scholarships will be awarded to the top posters with an opportunity to present at the conference!
All abstracts will be peer-reviewed and selected for poster display.

Abstract Formatting Instructions

Limit abstracts to one page, typed in 12-point Times New Roman font, single-spaced with one-inch margins, and left justified.

Abstracts can contain graphs.

Organize the abstract into Background/Aim, Methods, Results, and Conclusions. Define all abbreviations. Include the abstract category, abstract title, full names and institutional affiliations of all authors, and email address of the corresponding author at the top of the abstract.

Abstracts must not contain copyrighted material unless the author has obtained permission. Indicate at the bottom of the page if the abstract has been presented elsewhere and at what meeting.
Poster Rules & Instructions

Poster abstracts should be printed in landscape orientation, with dimensions of 48 inches wide by 36 inches high.

Posters will be on display on Thursday, October 22nd through and Saturday, October 24th. A representative must be available during the designated presentation hours on Thursday, October 22nd, from 7:00–7:30 PM to discuss the poster and engage with attendees.

Please note that only pharmaceutical companies actively supporting the event will have their posters considered for presentation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can a representative who is registered to attend the meeting present the abstract?
Yes.
It does not need to be the author or co-author.
Can one individual present two abstracts at the conference if they have co-authorship on both abstracts?
Yes.
Can I submit an abstract with graphs and/or exceeding 1-page?
Yes.
However, we ask that you limit to 1-2 pages max.
Can I submit previously published work?
Yes. ​
Who can submit an abstract for the event?
Any HCP or conference sponsor.
