ACCREDITATION
Program Overview and Target Audience:
The joint providership of Purdue University College of Pharmacy Office of Continuing Education and Professional Development (Purdue) and Focus Medical Communications (Focus), in collaboration with Academy of PAs in Cardiology (APAC), presents the 1st Annual CAPP National Conference. The conference will provide a comprehensive educational update on the latest scientific and clinical developments in cardiology for advanced practice providers (APPs; nurses, nurse practitioners and physician assistants).
Educational Objectives:
Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:

Apply advanced diagnostic techniques for cardiovascular conditions.

Appraise emerging literature pertaining to diagnosis and treatment in cardiology.

Create personalized patient management plans to optimally care for cardiac patients.

Synthesize and communicate information for patient education and engagement.

Formulate strategies for integrating new therapies into cardiology practice.

AAPA Statement:
This program is not yet approved for CME credit. Conference organizers plan to apply for 13.0 AAPA Category 1 CME credits from the AAPA Review Panel. The total number of approved credits is yet to be determined.
ANCC Statement:
This activity has been submitted to the Purdue University Continuing Nursing Education for approval to award contact hours.
