ACCREDITATION

Program Overview:

The second annual conference on November 13-15, 2025, in Nashville, Tennessee, will deliver educational updates highlighting clinically relevant advances in the management of cardiovascular diseases. The conference will feature an interactive format and small group learning sessions to enhance educational impact.

Target Audience:

This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs APPs (NPs, nurses, PAs) involved in the care of patients with cardiology and general/internal medicine diseases.

Educational Objectives:

Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:

  • Apply current and emerging clinical evidence to diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of cardiovascular diseases across diverse patient populations.

  • Evaluate new and evolving pharmacologic and interventional therapies and integrate them into personalized treatment strategies for patients with complex cardiac conditions.

  • Demonstrate competency in utilizing advanced imaging, diagnostic tools, wearable technologies, and artificial intelligence (AI) to improve patient assessment and outcomes in cardiology practice.

  • Develop multidisciplinary care plans that reflect guideline-directed medical therapy and emphasize collaboration across cardiovascular care teams.

  • Incorporate patient-centered communication strategies to enhance adherence, shared decision-making, and self-management in individuals with chronic cardiovascular disease.

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Medical Education Resources (MER) and Focus Medical Communications (Focus). MER is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team

Physician Associate Credit:

Medical Education Resources has been authorized by the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 12.0 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.

Nurse Credit:

Medical Education Resources designates this live activity for a maximum of 12.0 ANCC nursing contact hours. Nurses will be awarded contact hours upon successful completion of the activity. This activity is designated for ANCC pharmacotherapeutic contact hours.
